Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 kgs fish(tuna or seer fish)


  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard seeds


  • 1 nos garlic


  • 1 nos ginger


  • 1 sprig curry leaves


  • 3/4 cups vinega


  • 1 1/2 cups water


  • 1 tbsp sugar


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 30 nos dry red chillies(without seeds)

Directions

  • Soak dry red chillies in vinegar for 1/2 an hour.Grind it.
  • Cut the fish into small pieces and marinate it with some salt and turmeric powder.
  • Medium fry these pieces and keep aside.
  • Grind ginger,garlic and yellow mustard seeds .
  • Add some boiled water if you want to(Optional).
  • Mix vinegar,water,sugar and salt.bring to boil.
  • To the mix add the grinded spice mix along with grinded dry red chillies.
  • Now add fried fish pieces along with curry leaves and stir well.
  • Take out of flame when the water drains.
